El papel de los centros educativos en la formación democrática es fundamental para construir sociedades más equitativas e inclusivas. La literatura destaca la falta de instrumentos de evaluación de estrategias de apoyo en este ámbito con propiedades psicométricas adecuadas. The following paper documents the use of political artistic performances as an instrument to strengthen the links between democracy and education. This study has been carried out with 45 students enrolled in the course of Didactics of Physical Expressive Activities of the Primary Education Teacher's Degree. To document the proposal we have followed a qualitative methodology. The results show how artistic performances contribute to the process of political subjectivation of future teachers insofar as they are able to use educational institutions to claim a more plural idea of corporality. En este estudio de casos se describe y se interpreta reflexivamente una experiencia didáctica centrada en el tema “Los Peces”, y desarrollada en un primer grado de educación primaria dentro de una escuela innovadora. Se llevó un registro sistemático de lo sucedido, se recopilaron documentos y se realizaron entrevistas. Literature on art education often emphasizes dialogue as a preferred approach and as a way of practicing democratic education in museums and galleries. Dialogue-based tours in such contexts are often characterized by a sense of harmony and agreement. In contrast, this article discusses the democratic aspect and political potentiality when dissensus and agonism are used as central educational strategies. Through a historical reading of the Luigi Stefanini’s philosophy (Treviso 1891 - Padua 1956), this paper presents the democratic theory of education that he elaborates in the years of the Reconstruction. Stefanini proposes a personalistic deduction of democracy, where the educational act becomes a place of event of the social person. The core assumption in this chapter is that political actors and civil servants on the municipal level share in the common societal responsibility for the education and upbringing of the next generation. Using a filter of five core public-governance logics in the analysis of our data – the marketplace logic, the managerial, the public, the professional and the ethical –we find both similarities and differences between politicians and civil servants.
